Gray Gafarov

Gray’s music career began at a young age.
He performed numerous times as the Violin soloist with
some of the leading National Symphony Orchestras globally.

1st Place – American Fine Arts Festival 2004
Followed by performance at the Weill Recital Hall at
Carnegie Hall, New York.

In 2012 Gray became interested in Jazz, and continued his education at the New England Conservatory, learning Guitar, Bass, and Composition.

Later, inspired by the music of musicians such as Stephan Grapelli and Django Reinhardt, Gray combined the acquired Jazz knowledge and Violin skills to delve deeper into the Gypsy Jazz genre.

Today Gray regularly performs around the East Coast, including performances at the Boston Symphony Hall, and other fine venues around Boston.

Gray performs as a solo artist, and leads the Hot Club of Boston collective as well as multiple bands.
